Vice President of Legislative Affairs
The Vice President for Legislative Affairs is responsible for keeping the membership and state legislature abreast of issues affecting the professions of audiology and speech-language pathology.
Alison Kemph works as a pediatric audiologist and newborn hearing screening coordinator at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center in Nashville, TN. Alison joined the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center in 2012 after receiving her AuD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Alison’s interests include early hearing detection and intervention, electrophysiology, pediatric vestibular assessment, and clinical research. She has served on the Professional Development Committee for the American Academy of Audiology since 2014 and as a member of the Nominations and Elections Taskforce in 2015. She joined TAASLP leadership in 2016 as VP of Legislation and is eager to engage membership in making positive legislative movements for our profession and our patients.
