Courtney Guthrie

Courtney received her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Mississippi in 2004. In 2009, Courtney graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Memphis. Courtney has been in a private practice, Johnson Audiology, in Chattanooga, TN since December 2011. She is also a licensed Audiologist in Georgia. Courtney received her Board Certification in Audiology in 2014. Courtney is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is also a member of the Tinnitus Practitioners Association since 2012. 
Courtney specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss via hearing aids, cochlear implants, and BAHAs. She also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus and sound sensitivity. Courtney is excited to be working with all Audiologists that work in Tennessee and to be the voice for our professions. She is passionate about our abilities to serve patients and hopes to see us move towards more autonomous roles as medical providers.

Courtney lives on Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga, TN with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Ella Parker and Anna Kate. They enjoy traveling to visit family and being outdoors.
