Policy Overview

The Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (TAASLP) is committed to providing clear and fair cancellation and refund procedures for all event registrants. Please review this policy carefully before completing your registration.

In-Person Convention Registration

Full Refund Eligibility

Registrants who cancel their in-person convention registration 10 or more days prior to the first day of the convention will receive a full refund of their registration fee.

Partial Refund Eligibility

Registrants who cancel their in-person convention registration fewer than 10 days prior to the first day of the convention will receive a partial refund of their registration fee. The partial refund amount will be 50% of the original registration cost.

No Refund

• Cancellations made on or after the first day of the convention are not eligible for refunds
• No-shows (registrants who do not attend and do not submit a cancellation request) will forfeit their registration fee and are not eligible for refunds

Online Events and Virtual Programming

Registrants who cancel their registration for online events or virtual programming will receive a full refund, up until the day before the event.

Provider Cancellation

In the event that TAASLP needs to cancel or reschedule an event, registrants will be provided with a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.

How to request a Refund

To request a cancellation and refund, please contact TAASLP at:

Required Information:

• Full name as it appears on registration
• Registration confirmation number
• Reason for cancellation (optional but appreciated)

Refund Processing

• All approved refunds will be processed and returned via the original payment method used at the time of registration
• Please allow 7-10 business days for refund processing after your cancellation request has been approved
• You will receive email confirmation once your refund has been processed

Substitutions and Transfers

If you are unable to attend but would like to transfer your registration to a colleague, please contact info@taaslp.org. Substitutions may be permitted at TAASLP’s discretion and must be requested in writing prior to the event.

Special Circumstances

TAASLP understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Requests for exceptions to this policy due to medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact info@taaslp.org with documentation of your situation.
