This course has been developed to provide practicing speech-language pathologists with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively treat the pediatric patient with feeding and swallowing disorders. Participants will hear from specialists in Gastroenterology, Developmental Medicine, Nutrition and Pediatric Behavior, as well as VUMC’s Pediatric Medical Speech Pathology team. Topics covered will include reflux, tube feeding, supplements, sensory and oral motor-based feeding disorders, and feeding intervention for the child with autism. Ample time will be given for panel discussions and Q&A.

This course is offered for 0.7 ASHA CEUs (intermediate level, professional area).
